When & Where We Gather

HCUMC is defined by community, not by a building.

We gather at La Quinta Inn and Suites in the Ballroom and outdoors at Johnson Park on the last Sunday, depending on the season. You’ll find a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where people greet one another like neighbors and friends.

Check our worship schedule for current location details.

What to Expect on Sunday Morning

Whether you start your morning in a small group, worship, or both, there’s no wrong way to participate.

Start Your Morning in Small Group Fellowship

Sunday mornings begin with coffee, conversation, and small groups. This informal time is designed to welcome everyone in, build relationships, and create space for Bible study, open discussion, or simply getting to know one another. You’re welcome to jump right in or just listen and observe. There’s no pressure to participate.

Join Us for Sunday Morning Worship

Worship typically begins with a blend of contemporary and traditional music in a modern, accessible style. You’ll experience the joy of singing and worshipping together, and sometimes even moments of silence where the Spirit speaks louder than words. Sunday morning worship also includes scripture, prayer, and a thoughtful message that meets people where they are. Together, we reflect, listen, and make space for God’s presence, both in spoken words and in quiet moments.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everyone’s first visit comes with questions, and that’s completely okay. We’ve gathered a few of the most common ones below to help you feel comfortable and confident before you arrive.

Where are you located?

Most Sundays, we meet in the ballroom at La Quinta Inn and Suites at 501 Ranch to Market Rd 2147, Marble Falls, TX. We also love taking our worship experience to other venues. Often on the 4th Sunday of the month we do "Praise in the Park" in Johnson Park.

Where ever we are we'd love to meet you!  Anyone and everyone is welcome.  We think strangers are just friends we haven't met yet!

Check the worship calendar for our current worship location and service schedule.

How long should I expect to be there?

All services run approximately one hour.

What should I wear?

Wear whatever makes you comfortable. You’ll see everything from jeans and t-shirts to dresses and button-downs. There’s no dress code here, come as you are.

Is communion open to everyone?

Yes. In the United Methodist tradition, the communion table is open to all. You don’t have to be a member or have it all figured out to participate. If you feel led to receive, you are welcome.

How can I get more information about the church?

Contact Pastor Cody at pastorcodyumc@gmail.com or call (512) 961-6247. We’d love to help you feel at home!

Still have questions?

Beyond Sunday

Church doesn’t stop when worship ends. Throughout the week, you can connect through small groups, service opportunities, prayer gatherings, and fellowship events, from Bible studies to Chair Yoga to Caffeine Prayer at a local coffee shop.

A Final Word

Whether this is your first visit or your first time back in a long while, know this: HCUMC is a place where you can belong, question freely, and grow at your own pace.
