We are a new church plant in the greater Marble Falls area. We are supported by the United Methodist RioTexas Conference.

While some churches are desperately holding on to the traditions that have shaped organized religion thus far, and while we recognize the rich history, beauty, and comfort that these traditions provide; our mission is to find a “more excellent” way for us to relate to God, experience God’s grace, and expand God’s kingdom.   We are laying the foundation for a church that is true to God’s message, relevant today and tomorrow.  We may break some rules of the past and we may violate some historic traditions.  That’s OK.  If you think “organized religion” is broken, you are not alone.

Come join us as we begin again.  Lead by God’s spirit, following our hearts, using our minds, let’s begin again.  This time let’s build  church that is here for everyone, accepting all of humanity as it is, without judgement or prejudice, uniting with all who seek God, working together, helping our neighbors, and growing in faith by God’s grace.

At Hill Country United Methodist, we are a community of believers who seek to know and share God's love with all people through Jesus our Lord with the help of the Holy Spirit.

We are a part of the United Methodist Church so We:

  • Celebrate God’s love with Excitement! Joy! Thanksgiving! Singing! and Praying!

  • Experience a strong sense of togetherness and connection!

  • Are one with each other and United with the greater whole of God’s church universal.

  • Study scripture in the tradition of John Wesley

  • Worship together but also seek God’s plans in small groups

  • Focus service outward rather than inward

  • Recognize the importance of welcoming and supporting everyone and their unique voices
